The Experience

Visiting Bangkok was really an eye opener for me because of the culture and the people there. The joke was, you woudln't recognize which is a guy and a girl. Yes, many Thai's have gone through sex change. How? I am not to sure but what I do know its sort of a trend there just like the times during Alexander or if you have watched the movie, you would realise how 'gay' the movie was, the director was probably wanting to project the idealogy of 'trend' during that time as well. Like my wife, she said Bangkok is like a huge red-light district *laugh* I guess its becase we were living in the heart of the red light district during our visit. Just by walking out to find some food we found gay massage parlors and the all famous 'tiger' shows featuring guys and girls the like. I went for one show some time ago with my parents, they though it was alright for kids to watch these shows but when the show started, we were stunned. This show was all transvestites having (who knows???) the best Beverly Hills breast augmentation and it was hard to see that they were not men. Usually guys have huge tummys but I think they have gone through tummy tuck in Beverly Hills or something to have made their bodys so different! It was quite a sight, as one of my freinds would say, "see enough, no need touch" really! not only that, along the streets of Bangkok, you would also see these 'girls' or maybe girls are standing outside waiting for business to come. thing is, I was definately not into these kinda stuff because i have a loving wife :) besides, to my own preference, they dont suit me, you get to choose from many different sizes so take your pick! some I belive have undergone liposuction in Los Angeles I belive. But anyway, seeing all these was quite an interesting trip for me, for me once is enough :) enjoy yourself out there!

ding dong bell

The clock tower of Cha-Tu-Chak. The largest outdoor market in Bangkok and also the world. It's like the size of 5 football fields. Happy shopping (for the girls)

street music!

I caught these folks at a corner of Cha-Tu-Chak. It was at the end of the antique section of the market.

pier 61

Our trip ended off at Pier 61, a nice place where it wasn't too touristy and with really good local food! Thanks to the girl that directed us here from our hotel :)
